Preparing for a craft show!

Click on photos to enlarge, back button to return.

Craft shows are a lot of work and preparation. The display should be thought out ahead of time to fit on the table via a trial run at home.
************
The cloth must fit very well without too much draping on the ground that customers might trip on and pull your displays off the table!

*****************

My German twig tree was photographed
by the local press before I was finished filling it!

Provide various height to give interest. Try stacking boxes or crates. Have little nooks to showcase a special item you have made. Keep small items up higher if possible.

I try to keep product in a container of some sort rather than just laid on the table. This is important for smaller items such as individual ornaments.
Larger items may sit by themselves of course.
**************
I like to use interesting containers such as a scoop, box, basket, crate or bowl. Some of these you may wish to add a liner.
**************
If the container is too big, then use some sort of filler covered with a cloth to conceal and add your product on top. Nothing is worse for sales than a large bin with something way in the bottom unseen.

Please feel free to leave a comment or question! There will be more on this subject in the next few posts.
